Over last few years India has seen the record growth of women entrepreneurship and everyday many more women are pursuing their career in this direction.
As per the global statistics , about 126 million women already have started or are running their own businesses and in India, about 8 million women have already started or are running their own businesses.
On the other hand globally women acquire 24% share in various corporate senior management positions and in India the number is 30%
Not only that, women owned almost 37% of formal enterprises around the globe and in India about 10% of formal enterprises are being operated by women.
The basic reasons for rising the women entrepreneurship in India:
