Have you ever stopped to think about, what your life would be like if you hadn’t grown up with your family around? Imagine all the care and emotional support you would have missed.
Other than having no one to care for, poverty also acts as another main reason for children not living with their family members. Families often just can’t afford to support another child. We support orphaned children to live in the care and comfort of a healthily and dignified family life in ‘Bachpan’ home for boys and girls run by Turnstone Global in collaboration with Barrackpore Avenue women’s culture and social welfare society. Our children grow up feeling loved and cared just like growing in a healthy family atmosphere.
In ‘Bachpan’ our goal is to support as many children as possible and provide them best environment for their overall development. But the sad reality is that there will always be more children in need of a “Bachpan”.
