45 year old Kakoli got married at the age of 15 while she was studying in 10th standard. In 2012 her husband met with a road accident and was bed ridden for nearly 2 year since then her earning became the main source of income for her family. Now she takes a distributorship of package drinking water and has started expanding it after getting loan from Turnstone Global’s micro finance wing . She recruit six employees under her.
But Kakoli did not limited her capabilities within her vicinity;she took extra indicative and efforts to empower other needy women around her and motivate them to form Women entrepreneurs Group/collective to start their own ventures.
Through these group she has formed a platform to advocate the evils of early marriage and the importance of the female education to make them financially independent.
