Have you ever noticed the gloomy faces of the kids at the tea stalls and local restaurants? What do you think have they come there to enjoy themselves, yes of course they earn but only to support their family and their wages are way too meagre for the support. Today there are many such children from the backward society who are working at your home, or at any restaurants nearby, much defeated by their fate. But, our small relentless efforts have helped many such kids and their family.
The volunteers from Turnstone kept meeting these kids at every tea stall more or else, so they started convincing their parents for sending their children to the informal school of Turnstone, you can also donate for the school. This convincing part was always an unhappy situation as they failed to understand how education can shape up their children’s future. With much argument on daily basis, the parents were convinced to send their children to the school but only after the working hours.
Few kids were performing really well, with the help of donation and other helps these kids were shifted to a mainstream government school. They have finished their school with good marks and now are working. Today they are earning well and supporting their full family and also other kids like them to help them grow up in a better way.
On this International Day of Happiness, your kindness in donating small things can bring happiness for these kids. It just the way we share can give a kid a happy life.
